Gulf Oil’s association with motor racing goes way back to the 1930s. But the real fame started in the '60s with the Gulf Ford GT40 that competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. During the golden age of sports car racing when cars had beautiful racing liveries. The baby blue and orange iconic livery has always kept the magic appeal and over the past years we have seen sport cars receive the same famous styling. 

Our mug carries the famous racing number 6. The award winning car at Le Mans in 1969 with Jacky Ickx and Jacky Ickx behind the wheel. There is a great of iconic racing cars that have the Gulf Racing livery, like the Porsche 917, McLaren M20 Can-Am, McLaren F1 GTR, Aston Martin Vantage. Seeing the colors in fresh makes you understand what makes these liveries so special.
